Beacon Hill

Beacon Hill is one of Boston’s most charming neighborhoods; its architecture is reflective of old colonial Boston, consisting of cobbled-stone streets and gas lamps. Peruse the antique shops and boutiques, or continue down to the Boston Common. Wherever your interests lie, you are near your destination at The Liberty Hotel.

Boston Common

The Boston Common, founded in 1634, is the oldest public park in America. Whether it’s a summer picnic on the grass or ice skating on The Frog Pond, its fifty acres are the perfect location to escape from the bustle of the city. Celebrities including Martin Luther King Jr., Pope John Paul II and Gloria Steimen have given speeches in the common.

Charles River Esplanade

The Esplanade stretches almost three miles along the Boston shore of the Charles River, from the Museum of Science to the Boston University Bridge. Guests can enjoy walking, jogging, biking, and boating in the warmer months.

Community Boating Dock

Community boating is a not-for-profit organization, whose mission is to improve the quality of city life. At the Community’s Boating dock (located on Boston’s Esplanade) guests can learn how to sail and if experienced, can take boats out on their own. Discounted rates are available for hotel guests.
